Execute development projects with a focus on Board Support Packages (BSPs) and device drivers for Android, Linux and Windows CE, software integration and custom software development.

Perform software development and integration of custom standard development tools. Prepare technical documentation. Provide technical leadership to junior engineers. Enhance customer relationships. Communicate with teams in France and Germany to ensure the quality of projects.

Analyze, design, develop and test software architecture for multimedia and graphics enabled products on 32 bit embedded operating systems. Support development of software using world class engineering process software release processes, including version control and QA. Write device drivers and BSPs.

Program using C/C++ and Assembly languages. Work on embedded systems to develop software for Windows CE, Windows Mobile and Embedded Linux based products using ARM and Intel x 86 microprocessors with and without graphics and multimedia capability.

Participate in product functionality discussions, including feature analysis and system design tradeoffs with other members of the engineering staff and executive management.


Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering or Computer Science, and one (1) year of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer or related position.

Work experience or academic coursework must have included: one (1) year of experience working on Linux/Android/QNX device drivers and Board Support Packages (BSPs); programming/debugging in C/C++ and assembly; embedded debugging tools such as JTAG and version control systems; real-time concepts and CPU architecture; Java and C#; experience working in a customer facing situation.
