While developing their next generation products, TeleAlarm faced several key challenges:
Witekio engaged early to review and validate TeleAlarm’s architecture, ensuring their hardware choices and communication model would support wireless technologies integration, future security features, and OTA capabilities. Over the course of the collaboration, a multi-disciplinary team of security experts and firmware engineers worked across TeleAlarm’s product range.
Some of the highlights of our collaboration included:
Integrated our Pluma automated test framework to validate various functionalities in their development.
Delivered source code, test setups, and models so TeleAlarm’s internal teams could continue development independently and extend CI/CD coverage.
Conducted a cybersecurity and architecture workshop, mapping interfaces, storage, and cloud connectivity, allowing TeleAlarm to reach high security-grade devices while complying with the CRA standards and RED directives.
Enhanced the existing TxGo wristband by implementing OTA update mechanisms across a dual-MCU architecture with vendor-specific RSL10 constraints.
Solved unusual hardware limitations - such as a UART peripheral lacking standard parity/stop bits.
Performed targeted refactoring and bug fixes to stabilize the legacy ThreadX based code and extend the product’s lifespan.
With Witekio’s support, TeleAlarm accelerated development on TxGo, a Mobile System Security System:
